Jammu, Oct 26: "Ghatt" a Skit in Dogri, presented by the team from Govt. College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, clinched the First Prize in the Inter-Collegiate/Departmental Skit Competition conducted by Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu under the "Display Your Talent" 2013-14. "Yo Yo Bunny Singh" a Skit by the Trikuta College of Computer Science and Management Studies, "Chal, Kapat, Dhokha, Cheating" a Skit by GGM Science College, Jammu and bagged the Second and Third prize, respectively.
The Best Actor prize was awarded to Tarsem Kumar for his superb piece of acting in Skit "Drug Addiction" and Hempreet Kour from Trikuta College of Computer Science and Management Studies bagged the Best Actress Award for her acting in Skit "Yo Yo Bunny Singh".
The Certificates of Merit for individual acting were awarded to Neha Sharma from Department of English, University of Jammu in "Money Beyhal", Arun Dev Singh Jamwal from The Law School, University of Jammu in "Dabang Giri", Ansh Saraf from P.G. Integrated Team, University of Jammu in "Bhrashtrachaar Ka Aachaar and Sakshi Prakash from Govt. College for Women, Parade, Jammu in Skit "Budhi Kaki".
Among others Teacher Incharges from the various affiliated Colleges, Scholars and Students, were present. |
