Jammu, Oct 26 : A two days special workshop on "Effective Teaching of English" organized by Air Force School (AFS) Jammu under the aegis of Air-Headquarters New Delhi, concluded here today.
As per press release, Air Commodore PE Patange, YSM, VM, Air Officer commanding, Air Force Station Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Nisha Singh from Machmillan Education New Delhi was the resource person. She brightly explained the new models of teaching English like VAK (Visual Audio Kinesthetic), BISC (Basic Interpersonal Communication Skills) to reform the teaching of English. The concept was "Motivating and not just teaching".
Earlier the workshop was inaugurated by Gp Capt S Pati, Chief Administrative Officer of Air Force Station Jammu.
Vikesh Sandhal, Principal Air Force School Jammu while welcoming the teachers, unfolded the technological advancements which are newly added in English Teaching-Learning process.
He focused on the need of constant upgradation of knowledge, teaching skills and to keep themselves updated about the modern trends in education. |
