Sports Reporter JAMMU, Oct 27: In an attempt to spread the message of safe biking in and around the city, the Red Devils Motorcycle Club had a `Sunday Ride' to the picnic spot of Surinsar after passing through busy city lanes, here. Earlier, the bikers flagged off from Gole-Market in Gandhi Nagar by Member Legislative Council (MLC), Devinder Rana, the two-wheeler safety awareness and abidance of traffic laws in the shape of a rally. Led by Club's founder president, Iqbal Wani, the motorcyclists went around the city via By Pass, covering Gandhi Nagar, Raghunath Bazar, Shalamar, Kachi Chawni, Panjthirthi , Sidhra to culminate at picturesque Surinsar. "Majority of the bikers were wearing full protective motorcycle gear from helmets knee and shin guards, elbow guards and proper bike boots. They were also carrying placards and stickers calling upon the youth to encourage safe and protective biking and riding culture," Iqbal Wani said. Earlier, wishing bikers all the very best, Devender Singh Rana complimented Red Devils Motorcycle Club for the initiative.
