Srinagar, Oct 28: For the second time since the Class 12th examinations began for winter zone, the students expressed dismay over what they called out of syllabus question Maths paper. Most of the students particularly the girl students wept and had turned pale. They alleged that the questions asked in Monday's paper were out of syllabus and were not taught during the academic year. "The questions were out of syllabus. I could not do a single question," a student, weeping, in Press Colony told reporters. The students claimed that the faculty manning examination centers could not solve a single question themselves. When contacted, Secretary BOSE, Renu Goswami said the papers were not out of syllabus, however, if students give us in writing we will certainly look into it. When asked about the complaints that the English paper too was out of syllabus, Renu said, " a meeting of English experts was convened here today and the experts certified that the papers were within syllabus with some minor errors and we will compensate the students for such errors". She said if the students approach the BOSE with written complaint, the authorities will certainly look into it. However, the students disagreed with the BOSE version saying that the Secretary BOSE herself admits that some errors were there, which simply means the errors are big. |
