Jammu, Oct 28 : In a petition filed by one Nisha Kundal challenging the appointment of one Sapna Devi as Gram Rozgar Sewak for Panchayat Khandwal, Block Stawari on the ground that she does not hail from the concerned Panchayat that is precedent for such appointment.
Justice Janak Raj Kotwal of Jammu & Kashmir High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Adv Suneel Malohtra for the for the petitioner issued notice to Commissioner/Secretary RDD, Director Rural Development Dept, Chairman Selection Committee MGNECA and Sapna Devi returnable within four weeks.
In the meantime, subject to objections from other side, Court ordered that selection and appointment of Sapna Devi shall remain subject to outcome of the of the petition.
Court further directed that Director RDD shall in the meantime according consideration of the petitioner in this regard and furnish a report along with reply by next date. JNF |
