JAMMU, Oct 28: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Jammu Region conducted regional level 41st Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environment exhibition at Kendriya Vidyalaya No1, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Assistant Commissioner, KVS, Jammu Region A S Gill was the Chief Guest and Prof K S R Koteswara Rao, Deptt of Physics, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore was the Guest of Honour. Principal KV No 1, Romi Amrit and Vice Principal KV No 1, Dr B C Dwivedy, professors from different faculties of Jammu University and colleges were present on this occasion. Projects, models and presentations selected out of the Sub- Regional level Exhibitions conducted at K V No.1, Srinagar, KV No.2, Pathankot and KV No.2, Jammu were put on display. These items as well as quiz competitions were adjudged by a panel of judges hailing from different Departments of Jammu University and local colleges. Speaking on this occasion, A S Gill highlighted the schemes and strategies of KVS during Golden jubilee celebrations of the Sangathan. He informed that KVS is developing International level infrastructure facilities at ten KVs in each region. He further said that selected projected will be sent for KVS National level exhibition in the very near future. |
