| Narinder Singh Memorial Volleyball Open Tournament concludes | | |  early times report
Kathua, Oct 28: First two days old Narinder Singh Memorial Volleyball Open Tournament was concluded with great pomp and show at Govt Girls Middle School at Dhani, Kathua here today. The tournament was held and lasted for two days under the supervision of an organizing team. In the tournament sixteen volleyball teams participated from different parts of state and neighboring state Punjab. The final match was played between Raman Club Panjab and Kathlour Club Panjab where as Kathlour club lift the final match and claimed for championship with wonderful score. On the occasion the winner team has been rewarded with handsome cash prize of Rs.11111 and runner up with Rs.7000 along with respective trophies through the Chief Guest Hurmat Singh on the occasion. While speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest Hurmat Singh said that the tournament was an appreciable event which is well graced with the excellent performances of the different participated teams and inspires the youth to take part in the sports activities.
