| JKHMO urges State Government to redress pending demands of NRHM | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 28: Jammu and Kashmir Homoeopathic Medical Organization (JKHMP) has urged the state government to address the long pending genuine demands that equal share for Homoeopathic doctors under NRHM scheme and induction of one technical expert from Homoeopathic System of Medicine stream for interview for selection of AYUSH Doctors. According to press release JKHMP said that Govt. of India's national policy on public health care 2005 has acknowledged the role of AYUSH in health scenario of the country with special focus on health status of women and Children which remain on a special risk in rural areas. The NRHM has advocated mainstreaming of AYUSH and Homoeopathy has been chosen for its role in "Mother and Child Care". National campaign on Homoeopathy for Healthy Mother and Happy Child launched in 2007 need be implemented in letter and spirit by posting the Medical Officers Homoeopathic and Pharmacists Homoeopathic in District. Hospital, CHC's and FRU Centre etc. The spokespersons of organization Dr. Rohini Sharma, Neena Verma, Dr. Minakshi Chib, Dr. Satish Attri and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar said that sufficient unemployed qualified BHMS Homoeopathic Doctors are available in the State and district and hence need be posted on available posts of Medical Officers AYUSH that is Indian system of Medicine and Homoeopathy in equal share which has been ignored in throughout the previous selections made by the District Health society for AYUSH Doctors. |
