| KVIB organizes awareness camp at Poonch | | | early times report
Jammu, Oct 28:J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) Poonch organized awareness camp under Prime Minister Employment generation Programme at ITI Poonch.
The function was presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner Poonch which was attended by the lead District Manager J&K Bank, District Manager bank, Area manager J&K Grameen Bank, Representative of DIC, District manager SC/BC, Nodal Officer KVIC and other allied Department. Number of Sarpanches/panches ITI Technocrats from Govt. ITI and Pir Panjal Banwant ITI and large No of masses attended the awareness camp.
Speaking on the occasion District Officer KVIB Khadam Hussain Chib highlighted the features of the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme and its main objectives, he also informed the gathering the detailed procedural setup and the incentives available in this scheme, and called upon to avail the opportunities for self sufficiency and generation of employment thereof being the main objective of the scheme.
The lead District Manager also addressed the gathering and assured full cooperation of the Banks for smooth implementation of the scheme. BK Chatter Vedi Nodal Officer KVIC (Ministry of MSME) while speaking on the occasion highlighted the objective of the Prime Minister Employment Generation Progamme and incentives and thereof and appreciated the role being plunged by KVIB in implementation of the Prime Minster Employment Generation Programme scheme.
The Additional District Development Commissioner Poonch while addressing has called upon the unemployed youth and Artism to avail the benefit of the Prime Minister Employment generation pogramme scheme for establishing their ventures for self employment and also do generate the employment to the other being the main objective of the scheme. He appreciated initiatives of the KVIB for organizing such a district level awareness camp. |
