Jammu, Oct 29 : Bahujan Samaj Party has demanded that a good tourist circuit between Purmandel -Surinsar-Mansar can be developed by simply joining the 6 km remaining portion of road between Punjwa to Surinsar. Rakesh Wazir state general secretary while speaking in a function at Punjawa said that Purmandel and Surinsar are already established tourist destinations and religious places and connecting of both the places which is nearly 12 km from Purmandel to Surinsar and out of which 6 km Kaccha road is already complete between Purmandel to Punjwa and if the rest of 6km is completed with up gradation of existing 6 km road, the tourist / pilgrims figures can increase by many times in these pilgrim places besides connectivity to local villagers as well and asked the authorities to immediately start the work on this remaining portion between Punjawa to Surinsar at the earliest. Wazir further asked the party workers to ensure the victory of the party in this constituency, so that the constituency which starts merely 7 km from the winter capital of the state and is still struggling for basic amenities like water, electricity, roads etc. may get proper attention and constituency in particular and state as a whole may flourish.
