When contacted a girl from village Kotdhara informed the headmaster that Afftar for the last few months was troubling her by repeatedly calling on her phone. She also informed that Afftar was presently in the house of his uncle Ghulam Hussain near her home. Father and relatives of Afftar and Mohd Afiaz rushed to village Kotdhara. Ghulam Hussain informed that both the boys came to his house and had left in the morning towards Palma on October 25. During whole day search in the area including village Palma boys couldn't be traced and on October, 26 Afiaz's father Mohd Farooq, a special police officer (SPO) of Rajouri police moved an application informing the police that his son was taken by Affter from school and is missing since then.
