| IQAC Cell, GGM Science College organizes parent-teacher meet | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 30: IQAC Cell of GGM Science College organized a Parent- Teacher Meet to get feedback from the parents to further improve on the academic environment in the College. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Dr. Satinder Singh, Nodal Principal, Jammu Division Colleges, stressed on frequent interactions between parents and teachers for a healthy educational outcome for the students. The PTM's also put the students under scanner lest they deviate from their goals of acquiring meaningful knowledge and imbibing moral and ethical values. Dr. Satesh Bhan Convener IQAC presented a Power Point presentation on the historical growth of the institution over the last 100 years. At the same time, he explained in detail about the student support services available to students and academic / Infrastructural developments initiated during the last two years. Over 50 parents along with their wards participated in the interactive session, where parental concerns and suggestions were deliberated upon. The Chief Guest also presented appreciation certificates to 12 BCA students who were instrumental in establishing Networking in Computer Science Department as a part of practical training. |
