Sports Reporter JAMMU, Oct 30: Hosts Jammu and Kashmir today suffered a humiliating 150 runs defeat in the hands of Madhya Pradesh in the four-day game of Col. CK Nayudu (U-25) Trophy at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here. Chasing a target of 325 runs in the second innings, J&K could not survive the two post-lunch sessions and bundled out for 175 runs in 54 overs on the third day today. Sayeed Sagar was only batsman who could face the bowling attack of MP and remained unbeaten at 39 runs. Earlier, after conceding a five runs first innings lead, MP played superb innings and set a big total of 330 runs losing all their wickets in 76.3 overs in their second innings today. Resuming from overnight individual score of 98, AH Bains completed his century making 108 runs. Now, in the next match of the under-25 group shall take place at Jammu from November eight. It is pertinent to mention here that MP made 159 runs in first innings, followed by 164 runs innings played by J&K. |
