Jammu, Oct 30: The Special Children of Asha School Jammu Cantonment today celebrated Diwali with religious fervor and gaiety. Vandana Sharma, the Chairperson of Family Welfare Organisation of Tiger Division inaugurated the special function by lighting a Deepmala. Adored in colourful dresses, special children performed a group dance on a musical song based on Diwali. Suman Mathur, the Principal of Asha School threw light on legend of Lord Ram and purpose of Diwali festival with the help of an animated film on Life of Lord Rama. |
