| 10 day NSS Camp concludes at GDC Bishnah | | | Early Times Report
Bishnah, Oct 30: NSS Unit of GDC Bishnah organised certificate& prize distribution function on the Valedictory Programme of the 10 day of NSS Camp here on Wednesday. MLA Bishnah Ashwani Kumar Sharma was the Chief Guest while Dr Jasbir Singh, Chairman NSS University of Jammu was the Guest of Honour on the occasion.
The programme started with welcome address to special invitees by welcome address from Principal of the College Prof Kalpana Kesar followed by submission of detailed report by Programme Officer NSS Camp. Chief guest MLA Bishnah motivated the NSS Volunteers to undertake such activities which are in the interest of the society. He also offered to organise a workshop for the NSS Unit of the College in some remote areas of Bishnah tehsil. Chief Guest, Guest of Honour alongwith the Principal & NSS Committee gave away the memento/certificates to the winners of Painting/Slogan Writing & Poster Making Competition held during the NSS Camp while certificates of participation to all volunteers were also distributed.
The said occasion was held under the supervision of Prof Sunita Gupta, Convener Advisory Committee, guidance of Dr. Savtanter Kour, NSS Programme Officer & Prof. Preeti Dogra while Dr. Savtanter Kour initiated the proceedings of the programme. Among others present were Prof Hardeep Kour, Prof Archana Bakshi, Dr Alka Sharma, Dr Seema Jamwal, Dr Renu Gupta, Ms Anshu Andotra, Mohd Naseer and others. In the end Prof. Preeti Dogra presented vote of thanks to the gathering. |
