Jammu, Oct 30: The two days exhibition organized by NIFD here at NIFD campus 2nd Floor Karan Market Jammu today began.
The exhibition is all about the power behind unity. Being festive season beginning with Eid, Dussehera, Diwali, Guru Purab and Christmas, during the exhibition the students displayed their talent by uniting the diverse cultures and displaying them at one platform.
The festivity was symbolized by the fun and frolic seen in the dance scenes created. There was the famous Dandia with the folk lore of Punjab along with the garbha and marry making.
Speaking on the occasion, Vanita Thakur said, "NIFD desires to live up to the name we have built over the years because of our hard work and honesty".
Today the theme of exhibition is festive hues for this festival of lights, Diwali by our Dynamic talented designers of NIFD, an institute which in Fashion industry from the last 17 years in Jammu and still growing strong. The exhibition started with the traditional lighting of lamp, Minister for Housing and Horticulture Raman Bhalla Inaugurated the exhibition and appreciated the efforts of students who displayed the talent.
