| CCI holds interactive meet with SSP Jammu | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 9: Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI) Jammu arranged an interactive meeting with SSP Jammu, Atul Goel at Chamber House.
The meet was attended by the CCI office bearers including Sham Lal Langer Sr. Vice President, Arun Gupta, Secretary General, Deepak Aggarwal, Secretary, Representatives of Transport Associations, Transport Unions, Transport Companies and Wholesale Traders from Warehouse and also by the Presidents of Bari Brahmana Industries Association Annil Suri, Chairman Federation of Industries Jammu Balbir Gupta, President Warehouse Traders Federation Rattan Lal Gupta, Presidents of various Transport Associations and Senior Members of Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
In the meeting, President CCI, Y V Sharma, highlighted the issues and problems pertaining to Transport business which was being carried out by all those transport companies and associations etc. It was also brought to the notice of SSP that a group of persons who have made a transport association are compelling all the traders, contractors to use only their vehicles and they were adopting some coercive and unlawful means in this regard.
SSP listened to these problems very patiently and assured all the transporters and other persons connected with the transport business that he will see to it that this issue is resolved amicably by the evening only. Accordingly SSP Atul Goel has taken concrete steps which have ultimately resulted in resolving the issue. Transporters have expressed their satisfaction to the efforts made by SSP Goel. |
