| Bailable warrants issued against Div Com & ors for contempt | | | | Jammu, Nov 9 (JNF): J&K High Court Jammu Wing has issued bailable warrants against Commissioner/Secretary Housing & Urban Development, VC JDA, Revenue Commissioner/Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Deputy Commissioner Jammu to the tune of Rs 10,000 each for securing their presence in the Court. While issuing bail-able warrants against high-ups, Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey Advocate LK Sharma appearing for the petitioners despite notice, respondents are not present having no option for the court but to seek their presence by coercive method and issued bailable warrants against Commissioner/Secretary Housing & Urban Development, VC JDA, Revenue Commissioner/Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Deputy Commissioner Jammu and ordered that warrants shall be executed through SSP/IGP Jammu and further ordered that all the respondents shall remain present along with the records and reply on the next date of hearing. Court further directed that interim directions to continue to till next date of hearing. This direction has been passed in a petition filed by Ghar Singh seeking compensation of the land which was acquired by the State. |
