| Medanta Medicity organizes 'Nephrology OPD' in Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 9: Continuing its endevour to bring better healthcare to Jammuites, the Medanta Medicity conducted a specialized Nephrology OPD at Mediconsult Centre here today in winter capital of state.
"Dr Vijay Kher Chairman Nephrology & Dr Manish Jain Sr Consultant offered their expert consultations to the patients suffering from Kidney disease in Jammu Mediconsult Centre, spokesperson of Medanta Medicity said.
He said that Dr Kher along with Dr Manish Jain examined more than 80 patients during OPD held here today in Jammu.
"It has been observed that kidney problem in state is reported higher than in respect to other adjoining states, said Dr Kher while talking to media. Dr Vijay Kher is currently Chairman, Division of Nephrology, Medanta Kidney & Urology Institute and has also established Academic & Clinical departments of Nephrology at Sher-e-Kashmir, Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Srinagar, SGPGIMS Lucknow, Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, Fortis group of hospitals NCR, Delhi & now at Medanta Medicity.
Nephrology expert Dr Kher has been awarded fellowships of National Academy of Medical Sciences, Royal College of Physicians Edinburg & Indian Society of Nephrology. Dr. Kher has published more than 150 papers in peer reviewed journals, 24 book chapters and has edited 5 books. |
