Jammu, Nov 10 : Minister of State for Health, Shabir Ahmad Khan released annual publication "Operational Guidelines" of Jammu and Kashmir State Health Society at an impressive function held here today. Commissioner/ Secretary Health and Medical Education, Gazanfar Hussain, Mission Director, J&K State Health Society, Dr. Yash Pal Sharma, Director ISM, Dr. Abdul Kabeer, Director Health Services, Dr. Phatani, Director Family Welfare, Dr. Baldive Sharma, Divisional Officer NRHM, Kashmir, Dr. Mushtaq besides other senior officers of Health Department were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Health Minister appreciated the efforts of NRHM functionaries for publishing such a knowledgeable, informative publication explaining the guidelines regarding various schemes/programmes under National Rural Health Mission. The Minister said that operational guidelines will help the field functionaries at block and district levels. He hoped that implementation of schemes under NRHM by healthcare functionaries will continue with missionary zeal.
Mission Director, NRHM on the occasion said that every year, the State Health Society releases a guide book entitled "Operational Guidelines" for various stake holders. He said the Operational Guidelines for the current financial year have been prepared to facilitate the District Health Societies, Block Medical Officers, Incharge of the health Institutions and other stake holders in the implementation of the Action Plan of NRHM during current year.
He said the booklet contains the scheme wise information related to various programmes taken up under NRHM and it will prove to be of great help to the implementing agencies. |
