| Media manipulator, instead of media manager...... | | | It is no secret that the Chief Minister's right hand man manages
to plant news in newspapers against his political opponents in various national as well as local newspapers. It is a matter of common knowledge in the National Conference that he has even planted news against some senior men within his own party on several occasions, with intent just to keep them away from power corridors. It is a different matter that he did not succeed in that even as his manipulation went about smoothly with his ever enticing ways of some men in media fraternity. Normally, he should have acted as Chief Minister's media manager but on the contrary he has been seen as a media manipulator. There have been times when he offered incentives to newspaper owners/editors to strike a chord. |
