| JKOPA team takes stock of problems of Printers Association | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 10: The team of office bearers of J&K Offset Printers Association (Regd.) led by president, Pankaj Sethi, started a drive known as "Milap Yatra" today wherein it was decided to visit the association's members one by one in rural areas as well as in the urban areas to enquire personally about the difficulties being faced by them with regards to printing sector. The team under the leadership of president Pankaj Sethi was accompanied by senior vice president Sd. Harjinder Singh, vice president Sharat Sharma, general secretary Rahul Mahajan, secretary Sanjay Soni, finance secretary, Avnish Anand, joint secretary Satish Raina, former president Ravi Gupta, ex- president Arun K.Gupta and Rakesh Mehta. The team of JKOPA today visited sub urban area of R S Pura and interacted with its members. The president personally enquired from them about the difficulties being faced by them if any and asked them to approach the association for any kind of assistance. The members highly appreciated the move of the president to personally approach each member one by one and wished him good luck for the future. Further during tour, JKOPA also launched its new membership drive whereby new printers were admitted to the association as members. A certificate of membership was issued on the spot by the president and the president congratulated them on becoming the part of family of JKOPA. The President also informed the members about the exhibition of printing i.e 9th PAMEX 2013, being hosted by All India Federation of Masters Printers at Gr. Noida to be held from 14-17 Nov.2013. Rakesh Mehta, senior member of JKOPA told the members its importance and asked them to attend the same as this will give key information regarding their printing issues and they will be aware of the new technologies in the printing world. The team distributed pamphlets of the event to the members. Members were asked to visit the same positively. The association also informed members about the new rate schedule for 2013-2015 which was presented to all the members. |
