Saroori demands adequate stocking of ration, fire wood, K.oil in Kishtwar before onset of winter

Kishtwar , Nov 10: Senior Congress Leader and Member Legislative Assembly, Inderwal , Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has demanded availability of adequate quantity of essentials at CAPD sale outlets in Chattroo , Sigdi , Thakrei, Keshwan , Chandali, Sarthal, Khara, Bhalessa, Jakyas, Thathri, Bunjwah, Sarthal, Saroor, and Gahn villages of Kishtwar and Doda district falling in Inderwal constituency.
Saroori has urged the government to meet the required stock of Ration, fire wood and kerosene oil in district Doda and Kishtwar before on set of snowfall. Saroori who visited some parts of the district check the stock and availability of supplies of essential items and other arrangements for the winter season. He was apprised by the people that sufficient supply of Ration, fire wood and kerosene oil is not available in several parts of the district whereas winter season has already set on. He was informed by the people that the people in remote areas are not getting necessary permission for falling dry trees as a result the residents are facing hardships. Saroori said that there is a dearth of ration in several villages and calls for take urgent measures to mitigate the problems. He urged the government to provide sufficient quantity of fire wood, ration and kerosene oil in the districts.
He directed CAPD department to ensure adequate availability of wheat, Atta, rice, sugar and other essential commodities in all parts of Inderwal Constituency for the convenience of the people. He also impressed upon the officers to personally monitor the ration supply to far-flung and remote areas so that the poor people living in these areas get hassal free supply. Saroori also directed PDD authorities to ensure scheduled power supply to the consumer. "The people should not face any inconvenience on account of power during winter and any negligence in this regard would be viewed seriously", he said and added that due care should be taken to check power pilferage. Earlier in a function at Kishtwar, many joined Congress Party in the presence of MLA Saroori include Namatullah Butt, Mohammad Shafi, Mohammad Hussain and others from Chamoti Bunjwah area of block Drabshallah district Kishtwar. Newly entrants while reposing full faith in the leadership of Saroori pledged that they will take the party programmes and policies among the people. Saroori while welcoming all these people in party fold congratulated them on taking the decision to join Congress and assured them that Congress will leave no stone unturned to come up to the expectations of the masses. Saroori assured that the party would always stand behind them and would provide all possible assistance to mitigate and solve public grievances of their respective areas. Among others Sarpanch Association block Drabshallah Mohammad Iqbal Keen, Block President Chatroo Ghulam Qadir Sheikh, Sarpanch Mohammad Aslam Saroori, Piyaray Lal Sharma, Santosh Kumar, Khalid Hussain Sheikh, Shamas Din Butt, officers of various departments also accompanied MLA Saroori.
