Jammu, Nov 18 (JNF): Judicial Magistrate Hiranagar Preet Simran Kour has convicted Rajesh Kumar alias Bindu S/o Joginder Pal residentof W No 4, Hiranagar, to undergo simple imprisonment for three years as well as to pay a fine of Rs.2500 under Arms Act. In default of payment of fine, further simple imprisonment for another one Month.According to the brief facts of the case is that on 18-8-2008, constable Vishal Dogra and SPO Balkar singh brought a docket prepared by SHO and a "Toka" seized from one person namely Rajesh Kuamr alias Bindu, as they were on duty at Hiranagar stadium along with SHO Dewakar Singh, ASI Babu Ram, Constable Parshotam Singh and SPO Suresh Kumar and CRPF Personnel for maintain law and order during Amarnath Shrine Board Sangharsh Samithi agitation at around 2.30 PM. The accused was found roaming among the crowd in suspicious circumstances when he was subjected to frisking, a sharp edged a"Toka" was found in his possession and he had no permission for keeping the same. On this report the instant case FIR was registered and after investigation the charge sheet was filled against him. Senior Prosecuting Officer JP Singh appeared for the State in this case. |
