Kichloo's conscious forced him to resign, not BJP: NC

Kishtwar, Dec 5: National Conference leadership in Kishtwar today slammed BJP for targeting former MOS Home Sajjad Ahmed Kicloo from stage of Modi, s "Lalkar Rally" at Jammu and added that Sajjad Kichloo could easily have continued to enjoy his ministerial posting like Amit Shah did after 2002 Gujarat riots, but his conscious forced him to resign as MoS Home only to facilitate independent probe announced by the state government through Judicial Commission headed by Justice Retired R C Gandhi.
Party's defense for Kichloo came during a function organized on the eve of 108th birth anniversary of Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah here. During the main function which was held at District Office NC Kishtwar presided over by Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo, District President , speakers praised the contribution of Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah in Kashmir politics.
The speakers also slammed BJP's PM canididate Narendra Modi for his remark on article 370 of the constitution. Speakers also slammed BJP leaders for spreading false propaganda against MLA Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo from Modi's stage. On this occasion, several Congress, BJP & PDP leaders also joined NC. Prominent amongst them include former Executive Officer MC Kishtwar Ab. Latief Trak, Shahid Hussain, Asif Sheikh, Mohammed Abdullah, Mohinder Singh, Shahnawaz Sheikh, Mushtaq Butt, Farooq Ahmed, Mohammed Abbas Kelam, Asif Muzamil, Mahraj Din, Abid Hussain, Fida Hussain, Zakir Hussain, Masood Ahmed, Muzafer Ahmed, Yasir Hussain and others.
