| SEECC organises meeting at Billawar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Billawar, Dec 5 : School Education Employees Coordination Committee (SEECC) organized meeting at Billawar which was presided over by Kuldeep Singh PEM Provincial Chairman SEECC Jammu. In the meeting Amarnath Thakur Provincial President SEECC Jammu was the Chief Guest and ZEO Malhar Khazan Chand was guest of honour. Many Headmasters, Lecturers, Physical Education Lecturers, Teachers and RET regularized teachers participated in the meeting and expressed their views regarding their problems. Speaking on the occasion Thakur said that GPF of teachers of Malhar has been credited into their GPF accounts for the year 2012-13 in August 2013 after the teachers protest at Kathua but still the GPF of some Masters / Teachers is not adjusted which is a matter of concerned. He said that worthy DC Kathua has conducted the inquiry and action is likely to be taken against the official of ZEO Malhar, J&K Bank Billawar and treasury Billawar on the basis of inquiry report. He also said that vigilance organization is also conducting the same inquiry and district leaders have got their statements recorded in the vigilance office Jammu and also has submitted relevant documents for proper inquiry. Teacher's hoped that the culprit would be brought to book and justice will be provided to teachers. The interest on their GPF was also demanded by the teachers. The other problems raised during the meeting were non drawl on MDM for the year 2012, nonpayment of transport charges, non-adjustment of 2ndinstallment of 6th pay commission, non-release of salary under SSA and repatriation of Masters working in other district of District Kathua without any pick and choose policy. Teachers asked ZEO Malhar and CEO Kathua to relieve BalwanSing immediately who has been transferred and provide GPF statements to all Masters / Teachers before 25th of Dec 2013 otherwise an RTI will be filed to seek the information of all funds and GPF statements. |
