Jammu, Dec 5: A delegation of All Jammu and Kashmir Ayurvedic Congress (AJKAC) today met Health MOS for Shabir Ahmed Khan. According to press release, the delegation complimented Health Minsiter for his efforts for getting fully integrated 50 bedded Ayush Hospital sanctioned for Kashmir division, for which foundation stone were laid by Ghulam Nabi Azad on Sept 21 at Harwan. AJKAC requested Health Minister to initiate process of bifurcating present state level directorate of Indian system of medicine and subsequently establishing provincial directorates.
" Provision of staff for 45 single handed dispensaries, being managed by just one medical officer since 1982, regularization of nearly 75 newly opened dispensaries, presently being managed on internal arrangement basis, provision of necessary technical staff, provision of administrative staff for newly created districts, opening of new dispensaries as the number of ISM institutions , provision of two posts of B grade specialists, immediate election for board of ayurvedic and unani system of medicine, which has not been held since last 13years" AJKAC further demanded. |
