| Overloading, rash driving rampant in Samba | | | | SAMBA, Dec 16: Increasing overloading and rash driving of passenger vehicles operators on roads of Samba district has become serious concern for traffic police department and general public as well. The voracity to earn more money among the Matador operators is rampant in Samba district as operators are surpassing limits for overloading and speedy. A passenger from Samba district alleged that the huge of earning of money has made the operators to violate traffic rules. The traffic department has turned a blind eye towards this menace due to alleged nexus between them. Another passenger said most of the times matador operators are seen indulging in overloading especially in Sumb, Mansar route and other routes in the district. Students are main sufferers. Not only overloading but rash driving has also become a nuisance for public. |
