Jammu, Dec 16: Jammu and Kashmir Mazdoor Kissan Union (JKMKU) today staged protest against irregularities MGNREGA schemes in Marh under the chairmanship of Gharu Ram Malhotra here outside press club Jammu.
Addressing the media persons, Gharu Ram Malhotra said that in Marh MGNREGA scheme is tainted by the officials of RDD and thousands crores of rupees were swindled putting youth in great loss.
He said that their organization organizes protest few days back but nothing has been done by state government so far regarding fulfillment of their demands.
He said that JKMKU had decided to start door to door campaign against illegal practices in MGNREGA scheme in Marh.
He further alleged that officers of the R&B department were involved in MGNREGA scandal. Gardri Sudhaar, Tej Singh, Ritu, Krishna, Kasturi Lal Malhotra , Satya Devi and Hans Raj were present on the occasion.
