Poonch, Dec 25 : MLA Haveli Ajaz Ahmed Jan conducted a tour of remote areas of Panchayat Chikriban, Pleara and Gali Pindi to inspect developmental works carried out in these remote border Panchayts.
During his visit a series of delegation of local populace called on MLA and apprised MLA with their problems including electricity connection, laying of water reservoir tanks, extension counter of ration depot at Chakriban etc. MLA Poonch also laid foundation stone of Tourist Hut being constructed under Poonch Development Authority at Gali Pindi. "The said hut will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 25 Lakhs, he informed while addressing a public meeting and further hoped that this will help locals and tourists a long way. MLA also directed the concerned AEE for the early completion of it before 31st March. MLA during his tour highlighted various components of Sher-e-Kashmir Employment Policy and exhorted people especially unemployed youth to take due benefit of the policy. The people during their interaction with MLA Haveli demanded Anganwari Centers for un-covered areas. MLA accompanied with Abid Hussain Shah BDO Mandi inspected developmental works of MGNREGA, MLA (CDS).MLA Haveli also sanctioned Rs.5 lacs for purchase of L.T Wire out of CDF Funds. MLA Haveli was accompanied by BMO Mandi, BDO Mandi, AEEPWD, ZEO Mandi,Naib Tehsildar Mandi, Junior Employment Officer of Employment Department along Panches of Chakriban, Pleara, Saral, Gali Pindi, Jandrolla and Shahpur. |
