Jammu, Dec 25 : Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and MP candidate from Jammu-Poonch parliamentary constituency Yashpal Sharma today sought support of Jammu region to provide strong political alternative in state.
According to press release, addressing a meeting at ward number 31 Talab Tillo, organized by Gurdev Singh and Puneet Jamwal, Sharma said the support of the Jammu people was must to make the PDP a strong voice of the state. Sharma said that employment policy announced by the state government was a cruel joke with the educated unemployed youth of the State. He pointed out that educated youth have been agitating in every corner of the state for employment but the government doesn't have any policy for them.
Spokesperson PDP, Rangil Singh said that PDP has not only emerged as an alternative of NC in the state but the party has also earned credibility of people through its convictions and commitments.
"Our politics is not just for attaining power. Aim of our party is to establish a system where every sections of the society get justice and every citizen gets equal opportunity for growth and progress", he said and reminded the gathering that PDP-Congress regime had carved out a path of equitable and balanced development in the state.
"PDP-Congress regime had also laid a strong foundation of mutual trust and confidence among all regions and sub-regions of the state", state secretary Jajgeet Singh Jagga said that the residents of all regions of the area have been struggling to get basic amenities like drinking water, power and ration but the government seems to be non serious in solving these basic problems.
