JAMMU, Dec 25: Bhagawaan Gopinathj Trust (BGT) today celebrated 'Bal Divas' here at Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram, Udaiwala, Bohri, Jammu. According to press release, TK Raina said that the day was observed to commemorate the visit of Bhagawaanji's Australian devotees to Kharyar, Srinagar, and Kashmir Ashram in Dec 1978, previously being as Simriti Divas, now the day is celebrated as Bal Divas. Children irrespective of any religious /social barrier are being presented with gifts and sweets on this day. Around 1500 children participated in the Bal-Divas. The function was started with Bhagawaanji'sAarti, children taking the lead TK Raina welcomed the children. Speaking on the occasion SK Turki explained on the life and teachings of Bhagawaanji and exhorted them to imbibe the qualities of 'Sezar, Pazer, and Shozar' simplicity, truthfulness and purity, as emphasized by Bhagawaanji. Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust promotes Bhagawaan consciousness among the younger generation through constructive programmes such as Guru Geeta Recitation, Painting Competition. Children expressed themselves by reciting Gayatri Mantra, Bhajans, Dohe, Patriotic Songs, Maha-Mritunjaya Mantra, Mata-Ka-Shalok on the occasion.
