| Following inputs of HM ultra, searches held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 25: Following the inputs about the presence of commander of Hizbul Mujahidin (HM) in Talab Khadika, Special Operation Group (SOG) launched a search operation which was later called off.
Sources said since last week location of HM Commander Assgar son of Abdul Hayat of Sapore was traced in Sapore but yesterday afternoon he was reportedly located in Talab Khatikan.
Following which, SOG launched a search operation late night but was called off after they failed to trace him.
During the operation hotels of the area was searched but the team had failed to get any success.
Sources further said if searches were held during the day time when the market witness huge rush there might be any causality if encounter takes place. Later, a local Shabir Ahmed of Talab Khathikan was detained for questioning however, senior police officers remained tight lipped over the issue. |
