SRINAGAR, Dec 25: Employees of Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) posted at Pahalgam have condoled the death of Professor Ghulam Ali, father of JKTDC Managing Director, Shameem Ahmad Wani.
The death was condoled in a meeting held at Pahalgam and chaired by Aijaz Ahmad Bhat. It was decided during the meeting that the fourth day (chaharum) of the deceased would be observed at Pahalgam as well.
Along with the employees of JKTDC the function is also likely to be attended by employees of the different departments based at Pahalgam on Friday, December 27.
It would be in place to mention here that Professor Ghulam Ali passed away at Jammu on Tuesday, December 24 and his fourth day (chaharum) would be observed on Friday at Jammu.
He is originally a resident of Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar and his death has been widely condoled by people belonging to different sections of life.
