Kulgam, Dec 25: Panic gripped in Ladgoo village of Kulgam district in South Kashmir after police recovered three bodies of two minor sisters and their mother in the evening. Police have registered a case while further investigations are on.
According to police sources, the identities of the deceased have been ascertained namely as Soni Jan w/o Khurshid Ahmad Dar and her two minor daughters, Taranum Jan ( 5) and Rahi Jan (3).
Soon after receiving the information from relatives and neighbors, the police rushed to the spot and took the custody of the bodies found in one of the rooms of their house.
A police official confirming the incident said that the post mortem of the trio will be conducted in the morning at District hospital Kulgam. The case is at preliminary stage and we can't comment on this, he said, however he added, "after receiving autopsy reports we will ascertain the cause of the death.'
"Khurshid Ahmad the only bread winner of his family was outside state at the time of incident, reports said.
Meanwhile police has registered a case in this regard and taken up investigations. |
