| Take care of unemployed youth: PDP youth labour cell to Govt | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 28: The Youth Labour Cell of PDP asked the state coalition government to take the proper care of unemployed youth of state as they are being ignored by the Omar led government.
Addressing a press conference, here today, President, Salman Bhatti said that youth were feeling cheated on the hands of the coalition government, which should be taken seriously. He said that during the regime of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed led coalition government the state administration has taken the proper care and has take many initiatives for unemployed and created a credible channel for recruitment but the present government has shattered the process and created havoc in recruiting process. He said, "It was PDP led government, which had launched several schemes including Rehber-e-Talim, Rahbar-e-Zirat and Rehbar-e-Sahet but the NC le coalition had mismanaged the entire process and take it an ugly shape. And this mismanagement has badly effected on the unemployed youth."
Suggesting the government, he said that the government should come with a consolidated policy to give employment opportunity to the youth. He said that government should identify some vacant palaces, where people gather for one or other reasons and convert that place into market and allot then kiosk or reahris. He agreed that government is not sufficient for providing government jobs to all but he added that government can provide such opportunities which can provide employment to the unemployed youth. He also asked the government to provide interest free loan to the unemployed youth for running their business. Urging the Omar led government, he asked the government to regularize all those daily wagers who have completed the seven years in the services in their respective departments.
Making an appeal to the people, he said, "It is my appeal to all the people of state to openly vote for PDP candidates in forthcoming elections to elect your own representatives to truly represent you people." He said that three years government of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed was an unmatched government ever in the history of state. He said that Mufti Mohammed Sayeed is only such a leader, who worked in strengthening the state-center relation and to keep the country united. |
