Sessions Court Kishtwar grants bail to 14 riots accused

Kishtwar, Dec 28: Principal District and Session Judge Kishtwar today granted bail to 14 accused allegedly involved in Kishtwar communal violence on August 9 which resulted into wide spread loot and arson, beside the death of 3 persons.
After surrendering before the court nearly a month ago, Principal District and Session Judge Kishtwar Pawan Dev Kotwal order for release of all the 14 accused on bail subjected to the furnishing of bail bond of Rs 25000/- each.
As per the details available with "Early Times" the 14 accused who today got bail from the court are Khalid Hussain s/o Ghulam Rasool Shah, Ghulam Mustafa, Sajad Ahmad, Irshad Ahmad s/o of Aziz Mohammed, Khalid Hussan s/o Abid shah, Mohammed Irfan, Imtaz Ahmad, Irshad Ahmed all s/o Ghulam Mohammed Mir of Astan pain Kishtwar, Imtaz Ahmad s/o Ghulam Qadir and Fida Hussain s/o Bashir Ahmed both from Gudhalli Chowk Kishtwar involved in FIR No 146/13,
Others who were granted bail included Javad Ahmad s/o Abdul Rehman of Simna Colony Kishtwar, Mudasir Nabi s/o Ghulam Nabi of Malipath Kishtwar allegedly involved in FIR No 148/13, Danyal Trak s/o Fareed Ahmad of Malipath Kishtwar allegedly involved in case FIR No 149/13 and Javad Ahmad s/o Abdul Rehman of Simna Colony Kishtwar allegedly involved in case FIR No 160/13. Here it needs to mention that among 14 accused one Javed Ahmed was involved in two FIRs and has got bail in both cases registered against him.
It is pertinent to mention that over 50 accused involved in different FIR have been granted bail from the court of law while over 150 people are still absconding against whom the court has issued warrants under section 512 CrPc.
