In the same case another MBBS aspirant has been trapped by education consultancy service, who had paid donation of more than eight lakh rupees to manage MBBS seat. "Following a notice was published in a local daily Newspaper on July 13,2012, asking candidates for submitting their documents with Shree Krishna Consultancy Service. I also applied for the same, under Government of India nomination seats in MBBS", said Prithpal Singh, a resident of Sainik Colony Jammu, adding that for which he had deposited Rs 8.75 lakhs donation with two different consultants. "On August 2012, I deposited Rs 5.75 lakhs at Shree Krishna Consultancy Service, situated at Antriksh Bhawan, 22 Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi", disappointed Prithpal narrated his story to Early Times. But the consultants have failed to meet their commitment, already duped by a consultant, in April 2013 "I again deposited Rs 3 lakhs at another consultant, Edutree Consultancy Service Jammu in two installments. But after lapse of about six months of submission of documents, nothing has been done by the consultants", he added. Showing various receipt of donations received by above said consultants, Dr Gurcharan Singh uncle of Prithpal said that after their repeated appeals re-fund of donation, the consultants have been refusing tore-fund money. "It has become practice by some NGOs and consultants to make money, by assuring the aspirants to arrange MBBS/ BDS", Dr Singh said, adding that they collect money in advance but on failing to organise seats, they retain money and harass the students and their parents. |
