Kathua, Jan 10: Indian Public School (KIDZEE) Kathua organized a colourful function to mark Lohri at their school premises.
The Principal Mili R. Sumbria, Staff members and students welcomed the Chairperson Anu Dogra who attended the occasion as special invitee.
The function started with introduction about origin and history of Lohri. This was followed by a 'huge bonfire lit in school premises. All Kidzeee staff and students gathered around and offered their obeisance to holy deity of fire. Some popular songs were presented by the students which made the Lohri celebration more colourful.
At last , the Prasad comparises items like peanuts , popcorns , beaten rice and Ravery were served to all students.
