JAMMU, Jan 10: Senior PDP leader and party candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat MLC Yash Pal Sharma, today said that National Conference-Congress coalition government in the State has become a symbol of repression, anarchy, economic subjugation, corruption and misrule.
He said given the alarming number of scams tumbling out of the coalition government's cupboard, the present dispensation has earned the dubious distinction of being not only an incompetent but a scandalous government as well.
Addressing series of public meetings at Bajalta in Nagrota Assembly segment and Dogra Hall area of Jammu city, Sharma said while the State's hapless people have facing hardship due to wrong policies of the present regime, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his ministers are busy playing to the galleries through contrived melodramatics and rhetorical outbursts. He said that during the last five years this regime has done nothing to solve problems of the people.
