JAMMU, Jan 10: The monthly meeting of the All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum was held in the Forum's Central office here today.
The meeting presided over by the State President NS Jamwal, was attended by a large number of members including the presidents of various districts of Jammu province. The speakers appreciated Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, Secretary School Education Department H.K. Singh, Director School Education Jammu and Kashmir and also the staff of school education department at Civil Secretariat for taking the keen interest and pains for issuing the list of promotion order of senior lecturers and Principals.
They hoped that it will go a long way in filling the existing vacancies of Principals across the state and thus improving the educational activities in the schools.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamwal thanked the participants and assured them to achieve the main core issue of running pattern in future which is on cards.
He said that Forum has taken the issues with the Education Authorities in favour of Plus 2 cadre, enhancement of Grade Pay of Principals, declaring the post of Principals as non vocational, restoration of 40% promotional quota as college lecturers. |
