Jammu, Jan 16: Kundan Kashmiri, Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) Chief today asked all Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) all across the state to observe 'Holo-caust Day' as a black day. He also appealed KPs to wear black badges, switching off lights and holding corner meetings on January 19 to mark the day as black day. He appealed them to do the same from 5.30 PM, 6.30 PM to draw the attention of political masters of the nation towards KP problems as well as condemn the atrocities and nefarious designs of anti-national elements. He also told his supporters and activists to educate the youngsters and other Indian masses about the dreadful events which culminated in our forced exodus from the valley and about Human Right violations of Kashmiri Pandits. Addressing his west Delhi party activists and supporters, Kundan Kashmiri stated that there are certain unforgettable remembrances of the past which leave an indelible imprint on the minds of the peoples make up and compel them to reshape their mind set in a changed scenario and such an ugly unethical events was witnessed on the fateful night of January 19, 1990 with KP Community in Kashmiri Valley. He said this day is observed every year with great solemnity throughout world to commemorate the "seventh exodus" of KP community from Kashmir Valley. Further condemning the call given by separatists of the Kashmir Valley to observe black day on January 26, 2014, the independence day of India, Kundan Kashmiri appealed all Nationalist Forces of the country in particular of J&K state to celebrate January 26, 2014, the Independence day of the country with great enthusiasm and love in the overall interest of the country. |
