| Delegation of Satwain village calls on DDC, discusses ration related issues | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Jan 16: Rued over the lackadaisical attitude of the ration depot dealer the villagers of Satwain village apprised DDC Jitender Kumar Singh regarding the working of ration dealer. The villagers in the meeting alleged that officials in CAPD department have failed to restore proper supply of ration.
Leading the deputation, Ex-Sarpanch Nasseb Singh said that since for the last five months not even a single ration-card holder has get ration from the depot.
Whenever the people ask for the ration the dealer he always say, that he is not getting the ration from the department.
Charging dealer for black-marketing the ration Rajinder Kumar said most of the ration-card holders are from middle or lower class.
They also alleged that they were demanding from the concerned department to replace the dealer so that the people can get the ration of their quota easily and comfortably. However, the departments always turn a deaf ear to their demand.
DDC, as per the release assured villagers that their demands would be addressed in a time bound manner. |
