Jammu, Jan 16: Following the lines of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Awami National Conference (ANC) adopted "Anti-corruption'' as main agenda for Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, which are pending in the state. Responsible leadership, responsible governance, no to tainted politicians, no to tainted bureaucrats, no to corruption, no to lal batti culture, Clean politicians, clean J&K, down with wasteful expenditure, end to unemployment, a self sufficient J&K, new faces for 2014, professionals to Govern. These were the slogans raised by ANC, Vice president Muzzafar Shah in the run up to the party election manifesto to be released to the people of J&K State shortly. Shah said that the party is preparing to launch new and fresh faces throughout the state with a clean slate and a professional back ground capable of steer the state out of the mess created by coalition politics and partnerships since decades. The ANC leadership is giving final touches to the programme being launched in all the three regions of the state aimed at providing state based political alternative to the people of Jammu and Kashmir who are yearning for change to be announced immediately after the ANC working committee session at Jammu soon. Muzzafar Shah sounded word of caution and advise to those political parties and their leaders who seem to be taking the people of Jammu and Kashmir for granted . "Most of you will be shown the door by the people and definitely by the youth of the state at large .So, don't count your chicken, they won't be hatched this time," he said . ANC Vice President further stated that he will be personally spearheading a people movement against VIP and Lal Batti Culture in the state. There will be no room for tainted politicians, retried bureaucrats in the ANC. |
