Kranti Dal demands repair of faulty traffic signal lights

Jammu, Jan 17: Terming just concluded 'Traffic Week' being observed by Traffic Police every year mare an eyewash, Kranti Dal alleged that traffic department is busy in only collecting entry fees and demanded immediate repair of traffic signal lights.
While addressing a meeting Pritam Sharma, State General Secretary said traffic police is only increasing its monthly entry fee by increasing number of nakas. He said that drivers and conductors are plying vehicles without uniforms. Pritam Sharma said that the lakhs of rupees were spent on traffic signals but did not care for its maintenance. Kranti Dal warned the State government to change its attitude towards the smooth running of traffics and immediate repair all traffic signal lights which help to control the traffics in the city areas.
