Jammu, Jan 17 : Printer Associations of Jammu and Kashmir have sought state government's attention to save future of printers in state. Addressing joint press conference here today, the representatives of printer associations said that their business was at deleting stage and many printers were un-able to purchase papers for printing owning huge loans from banks on machinery. "State Government works including printing works of offices, banks documents and Jammu and Kashmir Board publishing work will be allotted the local's printers instead of outsiders", they demand. The associations have also flayed government for complex sale tax methodology and un-scheduled power cuts. "The labour problems can be solved if govt starts ITI courses for printing trainees", they suggest, adding that Government of India has launched a national education vocational programme by AITC of India sould be implemented. "It is very in-fortunate besides giving so many reminders at different corners to concerned authorities, printing items have not been indentified till date", the associations regret. |
