early times report Jammu, Jan 17: Joint Consultative Committee, spearheading employee's agitation has decided to march towards Civil Secretariat from Press Club Jammu on Jan 30. Addressing a press conference at Jammu Municipal Corporation, JCC leader Abdul Qayoom Wani impressed upon the Government to revoke all the 'draconian' laws and settle all the pending issues related to employees of Jammu and Kashmir. "We have asked employees of all the three regions to reach to Jammu to participate in the proposed March on Jan 30 at 12 in the afternoon. Thousands of employees will participate in this March and will protest for the implementation of the agreement made between the Government and JCC leaders," Wani said. Wani appealed employees fraternity to be united at this critical juncture and gear up the movement at grass root level to fight against the repressive measures of the Government. Seeking moral support form media, lawyers, traders and civil society members, JCC leader Abdul Qayoom Wani said that they will court arrests in thousands on Jan 30 if police try to foil their Civil Secretariat Gheerawo March. "Government should abandon the policy of confrontation and should take employees of the State on board. This is the high time that Government should resolve all the issues and implement the agreement in letter and spirit," Wani said.
