Jammu, Feb 3: The Sikh Community has hailed the achievement of Simrandeep, who is the lone Sikh IAS Officer in the state. Talking to the media persons, S. Mohinder Singh said that few years back Simrandeep was Jammu University's Gold Medallist, then India's Youngest IAS Officer and Deputy Commissioner and now J&K's first DC to bag ECI's award from President of India, Simrandeep has done it all at an early age and in doing so he brought laurels not only to his near ones, but also to the entire state of Jammu and Kashmir. He said where ever he worked till today, he worked with honesty and the people of naushera , kathua and leh were very happy with his unique style of work. Simrandeep is a role model for entire Sikh Community, particularly the youth. His efforts show that anyone with commitment and ability can achieve success in any field whether it is Sports, education, Competitive exams or in Services. |
