| Why bureaucrats use Govt vehicles to ferry their families? | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 3: Why there is no control on the government vehicles being used by the families of bureaucrats? On Monday afternoon, scores of government vehicles were used to ferry the children of bureaucrats to the police auditorium where former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was interacting with students of different parts of Jammu region.
Many bureaucrats had put all their machinery to ferry their families, especially their children to the event site to enable them to listen to Kalam, who held his first interactive session with students in Jammu.
Many chairs in front rows of the police auditorium were given to these children of bureaucrats and subordinate employees were taking care of these children. As many teachers and students couldn't find chairs in the auditorium but the hospitality of children of bureaucrats were taken care of.
Height of favouritism was such that after culmination of session, common students left from same gate from where they had entered but the children of bureaucrats were given an opportunity to meet the former President at the VIP gate and take pictures.
This is being seen in every mega event in Jammu as close relatives and families of bureaucrats and politicians are being given VVIP treatment despite the fact that are not entitled to that. Every politician and top bureaucrat has spared government vehicles for their families and relatives and tax payers money is being wasted on them.
