Jammu, Feb 3: The department of Urdu organized an extension lecture on the topic "Short Story Writing Techniques and Trends" The lecture was delivered by Dr. M.A Wani, renowned short story writing critics and the only d'lit in Urdu in J&K. He elaborated on the various Techniques and Trends which should be kept in mind while composing a short story. He also enumerated the various guidelines to be followed while writing a short story by critically analyzing his own short story "Beti. In which he reflected the mindset of a patriarchal house hold when a daughter is born. The guest was officially welcomed by Dr. Arun Sharma Incharge Principal Govt College for Women Udhampur welcome address was delivered by Dr. Mool Raj, HOD Urdu.
